Praktina FX name on the front,

The Praktina FX has one flash socket for "X" synchronization and no provision for the
control of lens diaphragm.
Kamera-Werke started the marketing of the Praktina FX at the end of 1953 using
the pictures of Praktina and Praktina FX-DS in the brochures, working instruction and advertising
until 1955.
As from 1954 the Kamera-Werke was able to supply a large set of accessories including the
electric motor with remote control, the spring winder, the 17m magazine back, the eyelevel finder,
the waist-level finder, the stereo finder, the high-magnification finder, the bellows focusing
attachment, filters, lens hoods and others.
Carl Zeiss Jena and Meyer-Optic Görlitz supplied the lenses with focal length from 35mm to
500mm.
The production of this model started in 1953 and ended in 1954. The total production is estimated
in 10,000 cameras.
